Datassun : Killed its first Mopar last night ..

!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

Last night I went for a little drive. After eating a wonderful Taco Bell dinner (side note: Taco Bell is putting chips in it's burritos .. if you put chips in your sandwiches you'll love chips in your burritos) I jumped in the Datassun went across the street and got gas... While my car was off a Challenger R/T pulls up next to me with his loud ass exhaust just mean muggin my car. I tell him " nice ride man " he says "yep" ... WOW really ? "yep" ? that's it ? might as well replied with "yea fuck off" I finish getting gas go grab a pack of cigs (cause I'll need them in a second) and a gatorade and walk back out. At this point Mr Challenger just got done getting gas and goes to get in his car ... I ask him what's done to it and he informs me that it has a " Full Stage 2 package" .... WTF ! Number one way to prove you don't know what the fuck you are talking about is tell someone you have a stage anything on your car. I respond "nice !!! I bet it's fast " he responds .. "hasn't been beat yet" (I'm thinking watch this...) ....

At this point we both got in our cars and pulled out of the gas station and on to 183. Keep in mind he never asked about or heard my car before we got on the highway.. I pull beside him and gesture for him to take off he gives me another douche smirk and down shifts.. I get down into third gear thinking that if this thing is stage 2 all of it I may need the 3rd .. I continue to gesture for him to take off....

FINALLY !!! he takes off gets about a fender on me before I fly past him.. Slow shift for fun so he thinks he has a chance and then left him in 4th.. It wasn't a race not even close to a race.. more like one of those gifs that has screwed up Oppo image posting for all of us ....of rape.

Awesome engine in a lightweight car = mucho fun. I love the LS2 in my GTO, but man would it be even better in something that weighs 800+ pounds less. Have you put that beast on a scale yet? I remember my friends 240z weighing less than 3000 pounds, but it was a long time ago.

Every time I read about your car it makes me want to throw a V8 into my 240Z. That car is already quick, I can't imagine it with double or more the horsepower.

Also go find a 4.8 liter and just keep it stock until your ready for more power then just boost it. Seriously tho my car just blows the tires off every time I floor it.

Neat :) I can't remember whether I've asked if you know what sort of power you're making ,and what sort of weight you've got.

I want to find out whether my Spitfire would be able to keep pace once it's finished ;)

I'm estimating ~1400kg (nearly 3100lbs) for the weight unless you've got lightweight bits I don't know about, but I couldn't guess the power.

I agree. But I tell you what and I may have to write a post about this soon .. When we talk about BMW and G35 drivers we also should be mentioning PRIUS Drivers ... I still can't get over how Toyota was able to get surgery certification in a dealership to remove the balls of men who buy them.

I should be around 2800 lbs factoring that I have the All aluminum 5.3 .. I think the power is somewhere around 300-350 to the ground.

I don't know how I missed that link at the top of your post haha BUT GOOD GOD that thing sounds like a boat! So awesome.

As tempting as a V8 would be, and I know I'd love it, I'm too much of an inline six nut to swap them out! If I had an unlimited budget I'd have two 2 Z's. One stock, the other like yours.

I hope sounding like a boat is a good thing.. Its got dual 2.5" pipes into a Spin Tech Muffler into a 3" outlet. The Cam is well over .600 lift and the only way I get away with running a cam like that and keeping the car daily drive able which BTW this is my daily is because its super light..
